As discussed during the dispatch call, police were dispatched to a possible hit-and-run near the intersection of Cleveland Drive and Union Road in Cheektowaga. A dark-colored SUV reportedly fled northbound after colliding with a silver Toyota. The victim and a witness were said to be following the fleeing vehicle. The incident may have extended toward Amherst, where crews were noted to be active.
