As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a report of a FedEx box truck emitting smoke on Interstate 88 near mile marker 118. The incident involved light smoke under the hood but no confirmed fire. Responding units coordinated traffic control and checked for possible injuries. Later in the same communication thread, medical personnel were requested to assist two women at an apartment on West State Street who had recently received medical treatment and were found conscious and breathing.
