As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a possible gas leak at a residence on Bourne Way in Edgewood, Maryland. An odor of gas was detected inside and outside the home, and firefighters confirmed an active leak at the gas meter. The gas supply was shut off and the utility company was notified for follow-up. One elderly woman later experienced a medical emergency, and paramedics transported her to a local hospital for evaluation.
