Teams fought active flames and heavy smoke, primarily affecting the second and third floors. Command coordinated suppression while units conducted interior searches and confirmed water on the fire. Smoke conditions later improved, suggesting the blaze was largely under control. A separate medical call involving breathing difficulty was also dispatched from the same area.
