Scooter rider injured in hit-and-run near Anaheim St

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a scooter rider near East Anaheim Street in Long Beach. The rider said he was struck by a vehicle but could not recall the exact location or vehicle type. Officers later found blood evidence and broken glasses near the north side of Anaheim Street. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.
