Air transport rerouted for child burn patient

As discussed during the dispatch call, an air medical helicopter was transporting a two-year-old child with significant burn injuries from a previous incident area toward a hospital in Los Angeles. The patient initially was being taken to Children's Hospital Los Angeles but was redirected to LA General due to the extent of the burns, reported to cover approximately one-fifth of the body. The helicopter crew reported stable vital signs during flight.
