Fire crews investigate possible gas odor near Second and Western

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire department units were dispatched to the area of Second and Western in Marion for reports of a possible gas smell. Crews checked the area but did not detect any strong odor. During monitoring, a separate report of a minor hit-and-run collision at a restaurant on Southwestern was noted. No injuries were confirmed, and responses were cleared without further incident.
