As discussed during the dispatch call, mesa police were dispatched to the Walmart at 4505 E McKellips Rd regarding a reportedly intoxicated male in a red golf cart who nearly struck (name withheld) and threatened to shoot them. No weapon was seen. The subject, described as a white male in his 40s wearing a black backward hat, black shirt, and dark jeans, was reported parked near the west entrance. The reporting party left the area.
