Deputies monitor reckless driver near Lincoln Highway

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies in Mokena responded to reports of a possible reckless driver traveling westbound along Lincoln Highway near Owens Road. The dark SUV was reportedly swerving and brake checking other vehicles and was later seen near several other roads, including Blue Stone Bay, Schoolhouse, Marley, and Bittersweet. The driver may have endangered other motorists before leaving the jurisdiction. No injuries were reported, and an involved caller was advised to stop following the suspect vehicle.
