Fire crews contain house fire in North Babylon

As discussed during the dispatch call, firefighters responded to a two-story residential building in North Babylon where flames were visible on the second floor. Two hose lines were used to control the fire, and truck companies ventilated the structure. The blaze was brought under control after primary searches came back negative for occupants. An alarm activation reported at a nearby address was later determined to be triggered by steam, and all units returned to service once the scene was cleared.
