As discussed during the dispatch call, law enforcement responded to a possible hit-and-run in the parking lot of a grocery store along Highway 76 in Pendleton. The incident involved a maroon Hyundai SUV that allegedly struck a parked vehicle and left the scene. Another vehicle, a white Infiniti SUV, remained in the parking lot. No injuries were reported, and officers tracked the suspect vehicle possibly heading toward Clemson.
