As discussed during the dispatch call, a 61-year-old male experiencing respiratory distress was reported near Campus Point Drive. The patient had a sudden onset of shortness of breath about an hour prior and used an inhaler multiple times without improvement. Upon medical team arrival, the patient appeared stable but with wheezing lung sounds. After albuterol treatment, lung sounds improved, though the patient still experienced shortness of breath. The patient has a history of COPD, asthma, and HIV. The patient was being transported to a medical facility, possibly UCSD Hospital.
