Emergency crews handle multi-car crash on Route 8

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire and EMS crews in Seymour responded to a possible multi-vehicle collision on Route 8 southbound near Exit 17, where reports indicated one person was unresponsive. An apparent extrication was required, and additional rescue units were requested. The roadway was temporarily shut down during emergency operations.
