Man threatens self with knife during family dispute

Officers were sent to a duplex on 10th Avenue Court South for a report of a man upstairs in a bedroom holding an open switchblade knife to his own neck during a family dispute. Several people were inside the home, and the man reportedly wanted to leave while others did not want him to go. Officers coordinated their approach, entered the residence, and worked to make contact with him. A person connected to the incident was later taken into custody near 111th Avenue and 122nd Street. The call was handled as a domestic situation involving a threat of self-harm with a knife.
