Firefighters battle basement blaze on Fiori Drive

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a possible residential structure fire near the intersection of Miranda and Fiori in Utica. The apparent fire began in the basement of a single-family home and spread toward the back of the structure. Crews reported ceiling collapses in multiple bedrooms and rescued a dog from the home. Multiple units operated at the scene, with backup lines used to contain the blaze.
