Traffic collision shuts down Crain Highway

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a serious traffic collision near the intersection of Vernon Road and Crain Highway in Waldorf. A red pickup truck was involved, and one person was removed from the vehicle while another was trapped and extricated by fire rescue. The highway was temporarily closed while units stabilized the vehicle and transported patients for medical care.
