As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews were dispatched to an apparent dog attack on Caliph Street in Wheeling. A female caller reported that two dogs began fighting and then turned on their owner. The woman reportedly sustained a knife laceration while trying to stop the attack. Police, fire, and EMS responded, and the situation was brought under control with the dogs separated.
